Bio

Coach Ventresca is a 1978 graduate of Mayfield High School where he was a three-sport standout in football, wrestling, and track. He was a collegiate wrestler first at Ohio State University, then at John Carroll University where he was a Division III National Qualifier. Victor was also an AAU All-American in freestyle wrestling. Coach Ventresca comes to Hawken with 17 years of coaching experience in mixed martial arts, including wrestling, jujitsu, kickboxing, and self-defense. He is also an accomplished strength and conditioning coach with over 20 years of experience. He is a well-known figure in Northeast Ohio, training many of the area’s top wrestlers for many years. He has been a high school wrestling coach at Brush High School and at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin.
