WALTON STADIUM 

Walton Stadium is named in honor of long-time Hawken football/wrestling coach and teacher Cliff Walton. It has a seating capacity of approximately 2,000 spectators, and features a state-of-the-art artificial turf field installed in 2020. The Humphrey turf field is a multi-fiber turf with a 100% coated sand infill, all of which gives the field a true playing surface that most replicates a top-tier natural surface. The sand is green, which stays significantly cooler in the sun than most artificial turf fields. Our stadium field is equipped with a corner-to-corner shock pad underneath the playing surface, which insures the maintenance of industry standard safety standards with regard to impact and injury prevention. 

The Humphrey Field at Walton Stadium is home to football, girls and boys soccer, field hockey, and girls and boys lacrosse. A complete lighting systems allows for all of these teams to play home games at night under the lights. 

The stadium facility also features brand new in 2023, 6-lane track with newly-updated pole vault, long jump, and high jump facilities. Shot put and discus areas are located outside the stadium area.
