Ohio Tide Baseball

OUR MISSION

The mission of Ohio Tide is to provide a platform for which student athletes can achieve various levels of success, through character and physical development in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Through our coaching and leadership, we want our student athletes to push themselves to be better individuals, teammates and leaders in their lives and to positively influence others as a morally and ethically driven individual.

OUR STORY

In the fall of 2019, Hawken School announced the launch of a new enterprise to serve youth baseball and softball with the creation of a new premiere club program. Partnering the former Golden Spikes baseball club, and Aaron Brandt, Hawken’s long-standing varsity baseball coach, Hawken named their new club the Ohio Tide. The club offers programming for baseball 9u thru 18u.

The Ohio Tide operates within its own business model, with Hawken providing structural support to allow for security and consistency with regard to facility and field access and use, fiscal management, hiring and personnel management, equipment, and apparel purchasing and distribution, marketing and communication, and other organizational enhancements.

The Ohio Tide welcomes back players from our inaugural season along with new members for 2021.
